Baghdad: Brigadier General Mohammed Lafteh Al-Moussawi has taken over the command of the Maysan Police Department in an acting capacity. He succeeds Major General Naaman Al-Maliki in this role.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brigadier General Al-Moussawi was previously serving as the Deputy Chief of Maysan Police. His new appointment as the Acting Chief of Police marks a significant leadership change in the province’s law enforcement hierarchy.
