Diyala: Joint detachments from the Diyala Police seized two vehicles loaded with table eggs in violation of the law. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Diyala Police Command reported that the vehicles were carrying 100 cartons of eggs intended for smuggling. The eggs violated health regulations due to the lack of suitable transport for preserving and transporting them.

The statement from the Diyala Police Command further revealed that the violators attempted to use unofficial routes to bypass official checkpoints. This strategy was intended to evade inspection and reach an unknown destination.

Legal measures were taken against those involved, as per established procedures. They have been referred to the relevant authorities for further action.
