Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi confirmed today that the government’s strategy is centered on Iraq’s external openness, support for development plans, and enhancement of the investment environment.
According to Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister shared in a blog post on the X platform that his official visit to Europe marks the first of its kind, including stops in France and Germany. This visit aims to strengthen joint relations across various sectors between Iraq and the countries of the European Union.
“Our governmental approach is based on Iraq’s external openness, supporting development plans and enhancing the investment environment, especially since we have a long history of effective relations with the two friendly countries. During the visit, we will confirm our keenness to raise the level of cooperation with the two countries in a way that achieves the common interests of our friendly peoples,” he elaborated.
The visit underlines Iraq’s commitment to fostering international partnerships and aligning with global development goals, reflecting the nation’s dedication to economic growth and international collaboration.
