Baghdad: Parliament Speaker Heibat al-Halbousi discussed the development of bilateral relations and regional developments with US Charg© d’Affaires Steven Fagin on Sunday. According to Iraqi News Agency, the Media Office of the Parliament Speaker announced that “Parliament Speaker Heibat al-Halbousi received the Charg© d’Affaires of the US Mission to Iraq, Steven Fagin.”

The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations by expanding areas of joint cooperation across various sectors. This initiative is aimed at strengthening the partnership between Iraq and the United States.

In addition to bilateral relations, the discussion also addressed regional developments and several issues of mutual interest, reflecting both countries’ commitment to collaborative progress in the region.
