Baghdad: Shibl al-Zaidi, head of Khadamat Alliance, emphasized on Sunday the importance of integrating national efforts and maintaining continuous coordination to address security challenges.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the alliance announced that Shibl al-Zaidi met at his Baghdad office with Qasim al-Araji, the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Security Affairs, to discuss the latest security updates and developments in the country.

The meeting addressed the security situation, government efforts to enhance security and stability, and the role of relevant institutions and agencies in imposing security control and consolidating state authority-thereby contributing to the protection of citizens and the preservation of the country’s security and sovereignty.

According to the statement, Al-Zaidi underscored “the importance of integrating national efforts and continuous coordination to confront security challenges.”

It added that ‘both sides emphasized the necessity of continued cooperation on security and national issues, as well as support for government efforts aimed at enhancing stability and safeguarding Iraq’s sovereignty and the interests of its people.’
