Pirmam: Kurdistan Democratic Party leader Masoud Barzani received a large delegation of Iraqi tribal leaders, sheikhs, and dignitaries in Pirmam on Sunday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the delegation visited Barzani to offer condolences on the passing of the late Abdul Wahid Ibrahim Sheikh Abdul Salam Barzani. During the meeting, the delegation expressed their deepest sympathies and commended Barzani’s efforts in fostering unity and peaceful coexistence among different communities, particularly between Kurds and Arabs.

The dialogue highlighted the historical and fraternal ties between the Kurdish and Arab communities. Barzani emphasized the importance of preventing political disagreements from harming these relations. He instructed members of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the Federal Parliament to prioritize the interests of Iraq and Kurdistan collectively, ensuring non-discriminatory practices in fulfilling their roles. Barzani reiterated the necessity of intensifying efforts to enhance and expand the fraternal relations between the Arab and Kurdish communities.
