Paris: A formal reception ceremony was held today for Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi at the French Armed Forces Museum, also known as Les Invalides, in Paris.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Zaidi was welcomed by French Minister of the Armed Forces Catherine Vautrin, alongside the presence of French Foreign Minister Jean-No«l Barrot. The ceremony featured the playing of the Iraqi and French national anthems, followed by an inspection of the honor guard.

The French Minister briefed Prime Minister al-Zaidi on the military and architectural history of the French Armed Forces Museum building, emphasizing its national symbolism in French consciousness.
