Amarah: Contract employees of a Turkish company are demonstrating in the building to protest the termination of their services. Contract workers employed by the Turkish company Sham, working at Al-Hakim Hospital in Amarah, demonstrated against the termination of their services, demanding that relevant authorities intervene urgently to ensure their rights and preserve their jobs.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the demonstrators stated that the termination decision threatens their livelihoods, emphasizing that their continued employment depends on meeting their basic needs. They called on the company’s management and relevant health authorities to reconsider the decision and find solutions that guarantee their continued employment.

The protesters stressed their intention to pursue their demands through legal and peaceful means, urging the relevant authorities in Maysan Governorate to intervene, address the issue, and respond to their demands.
