Baghdad: The Federal Police Command announced on Saturday the arrest of 23 suspects under various legal provisions in three provinces.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the command stated that, ‘in accordance with the directives of Federal Police Forces Commander Lieutenant General Muhammad Qasim Al-Fahd, Federal Police units carried out security pre-emptive duties and area searches on Saturday evening in Baghdad, Maysan and Babil, resulting in the arrest of 23 suspects under various legal provisions and the seizure of weapons, including a Kalashnikov rifle and a pistol.’
