Baghdad: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces will intensify their strikes on military installations in Kyiv in response to Ukrainian attacks on targets inside Russia.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated that the Kyiv regime’s attempt to launch a large-scale attack on Moscow was unsuccessful, as the enemy did not achieve its objectives. The Ministry highlighted that air defenses managed to shoot down 1,951 Ukrainian drones and 8 long-range cruise missiles over Russian territory in the past 24 hours.

The statement further confirmed that Kyiv attempted a large-scale attack on Russian territory on September 19 and 20 with the aim of disrupting the elections.
