New York:Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi met with Stuart Jones, President of the Middle East Institute, to discuss Iraq’s economic and financial reform strategies.

According to Iraqi News Agency, this meeting took place at Al-Zaidi’s residence in New York during his participation in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The discussions focused on regional and international developments and the progress of Iraq’s economic reforms. The Iraqi government is actively working to improve the investment climate, support the national economy, and diversify revenue sources.

Stuart Jones praised the Iraqi government’s efforts in implementing anti-corruption measures, tackling financial challenges, and advancing economic reforms. He highlighted the positive impact these efforts have on enhancing opportunities for development, economic partnerships, and attracting investment from major companies.
