Baghdad:Judge Faiq Zidan, President of the Supreme Judicial Council, extended his congratulations to the Iraqi people for National Sovereignty Day, highlighting its significance in reinforcing state sovereignty.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Judge Zidan emphasized that National Sovereignty Day, observed on September 30, is a crucial milestone in Iraq’s journey towards consolidating state sovereignty and independent national decision-making.

He further stated that the occasion underscores the importance of adhering to the Constitution and the rule of law, which are instrumental in protecting rights and freedoms while safeguarding the interests of the state and its citizens.
