Erbil:Pentagon: The US Department of Defense announced the official conclusion of Operation Inherent Resolve in Iraq by the United States and its International Coalition partners, affirming ongoing support for Iraqi forces.

According to the National Iraqi News Agency, the Pentagon stated that the withdrawal of Coalition troops and equipment from Erbil Air Base signifies the end of the military mission.

The Department highlighted its commitment to continue providing targeted training and intelligence support to Iraqi partners. It also noted that Iraqi security forces are expected to lead efforts to secure Iraq and manage the remnants of ISIS.
