Baghdad:The Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, Qasim al-Araji, has underscored the critical role that Iraqi tribes play in supporting state institutions.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Araji met with Sheikh Sabah Nouri al-Fahd al-Saadoun on Thursday, where he emphasized the national importance of tribal involvement in bolstering state institutions.
The discussions highlighted the role of Iraqi tribes in enhancing social cohesion and supporting efforts to consolidate security, stability, and social peace. Al-Araji stressed the need for strengthened cooperation and communication between tribal and community leaders and security institutions to uphold the rule of law and maintain the country’s security and stability.
