Accra:The National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, Qasim al-Araji, has emphasized the Iraqi government’s ongoing commitment to preserving the country’s sovereignty and the independence of its decision-making processes.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Araji, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), highlighted the government’s efforts to bolster state security and stability. He stated that these efforts include asserting authority over decisions related to war and peace, with the goal of protecting Iraq’s supreme interests and shielding the nation from the effects of regional conflicts.
The government’s strategy focuses on a balanced foreign policy that is rooted in mutual respect and shared interests. This approach is intended to elevate Iraq’s regional and international standing and influence.
