Accra:Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi on Iraq’s National Day, affirming Ukraine’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with Iraq.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Zelenskyy sent a message through the Ukrainian Embassy, highlighting the historic ties and ongoing cooperation between Ukraine and Iraq.

In his message, Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of preserving the solid foundation between the two countries and expressed a desire to intensify bilateral dialogue. He aims to achieve practical outcomes that benefit both nations and their citizens.

Zelenskyy also wished Prime Minister Al-Zaidi success in his duties, along with peace, stability, and prosperity for the Iraqi people.
