Accra:Oil Minister Basim Mohammed Khudair has confirmed that the ministry is actively working alongside the government to secure the financial allocations necessary for purchasing oil tankers for the Iraqi Oil Tankers Company.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, The acquisition of these tankers aims to aid in the company’s development and enhance its ability to transport crude oil.

Khudair emphasized that owning oil tankers would bolster export operations, ensure economic viability, and increase financial returns.
