Accra:Camp David Senior national security advisors to U.S. President Donald Trump convened in a secret meeting to address developments concerning Iran and Yemen.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place on Friday evening and extended over several hours. The discussions focused on the next steps in the ongoing conflict with Iran and the confrontation between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis in Yemen.

Vice President J.D. Vance chaired the meeting, which was attended by key figures including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Treasury Secretary Scott Bisent, White House envoy Steve Witkopf, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Keane.

An official mentioned that the meeting was either for making decisions or for having in-depth discussions in preparation for recommendations to be presented to President Trump.
