Accra:President Nizar Amidi emphasized the importance of Sovereignty Day in Iraq’s history during a memorial service.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the event marked the ninth anniversary of former President Jalal Talabani’s passing. President Amidi praised Talabani’s ability to propose solutions to political disputes and highlighted the late leader’s legacy.
