Accra:A meeting was held between Oil Minister Basim Mohammed Khudair Al-Abadi and the Director General of the Energy Police, Lieutenant General Hamid Abdullah Al-Husseini, focusing on the security of oil-related infrastructure.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Oil issued a statement indicating that the meeting emphasized the significance of safeguarding oil sites, facilities, and the national wealth.

The discussion also covered improving mechanisms for joint cooperation between the Ministry of Oil and the Energy Police Directorate to ensure the protection of these critical resources.
