London:President Nizar Amidi received a congratulatory message from King Charles III of the United Kingdom on the occasion of Iraq’s National Day.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, King Charles III extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes to the Iraqi people, expressing hopes for their continued peace, prosperity, and well-being.

The message from the King highlighted the occasion as an opportunity to reaffirm the deep friendship between the United Kingdom and Iraq. He expressed appreciation for the strong bilateral relations and emphasized his commitment to enhancing cooperation between the two nations in the coming years.

King Charles III also expressed his desire for ongoing collaboration between the countries to address mutual challenges, particularly those related to climate and environmental protection, and to work together on finding effective and sustainable solutions.

Iraq celebrates its National Day on October 3rd, commemorating its independence from the British Mandate and accession to the League of Nations in 1932, as established by a 2020 law.
