Integrated Security System Leads to Reduced Crime and Fire Mitigation

Accra:the Ministry of Interior announced that a decline in crime and fire impact mitigation are results of an integrated security system. This system places significant emphasis on public awareness as a crucial element of the security prevention framework.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Ministry Spokesperson Colonel Mohammed Ali Al-Hassoun explained that the internal security strategy is treated as a comprehensive responsibility by the Ministry. This strategy includes prevention, proactive measures, enhanced readiness, accurate intelligence, rapid response, and law enforcement, all designed to promote security and stability while safeguarding citizens.

The reduction in crime levels is attributed to the Ministry’s integrated security efforts, which involve advancements in intelligence and investigative work, as well as strengthened field deployment and monitoring. Citizen cooperation is emphasized, as their involvement in reporting potentially risky activities is vital to the security prevention system.

In terms of fire and accident management, the Civil Defense Directorate’s ongoing preventive measures, response, and rapid interventions have been key in mitigating incident impacts. Prompt reporting and contacting the unified emergency number, 911, are crucial in reducing response times, ensuring specialized teams arrive quickly, thereby improving the chances of saving lives, controlling fires, and minimizing damage.
