Accra:Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan affirmed that Iraq has begun restoring security to areas that had lacked stability for years.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Erdogan stated that throughout the region, peace will replace terrorism and prosperity will replace instability. He mentioned that tranquility will take the place of clashes.
Erdogan also commented on the situation in Syria, noting that the previous regime, which he described as oppressive and responsible for the deaths of nearly a million Syrians, has been replaced by a new regime that is friendly to Turkey. He emphasized that with integration phases underway, the problem of terrorism is being resolved.
The Turkish President reiterated Turkey’s goal of achieving a region free from terrorism, asserting that no one will be able to obstruct this objective.
