Iraqi Coordination Framework Asserts Government’s Protective and Investment Capabilities


Accra:Coordination Framework The Iraqi government and state are capable of safeguarding the nation’s various components and bolstering the investment environment.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Coordination Framework issued a statement affirming the strong capacity of the Iraqi government to protect its society and provide a secure environment for investment. This announcement followed an emergency meeting held at the Government Palace, convened at the invitation of Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi, to discuss political and security developments post-‘Sovereignty Day,’ which was described as a pivotal milestone for Iraq’s independence and stability.



The Coordination Framework extended congratulations to the Iraqi people and applauded the country’s security forces for their defense of the nation. The statement also expressed gratitude to the supreme religious authority for its role as a national safeguard.



Additionally, the Framework commended the responsible actions of various factions for their commitment to the national interest through an agreement paper developed through extensive efforts. Emphasis was placed on strengthening state institutions and adherence to the rule of law while advocating for comprehensive de-escalation among all parties.



The Coordination Framework also acknowledged the international coalition’s commitment to withdrawing from Iraq within the agreed timeline, praising its role in combating terrorism. Furthermore, it expressed appreciation for the Quadrilateral Committee’s efforts, underscoring the importance of its continued work until June 30, 2026, to address the constitutional issue concerning weapons.
