Baghdad:Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi has instructed that financial resources be allocated to the Ministry of Health to secure essential medicines and medical supplies. This initiative aims to provide for treatments related to cancer, heart disease, chronic illnesses, as well as kidney care and dialysis, ensuring the continuity of health services for patients.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Zaidi led a meeting with senior Ministry of Health officials, including Minister Abdul-Hussein Aziz Al-Mousawi and Parliamentary Health Committee member Adila Hammoud Hussein. The discussion focused on the current condition of health services in hospitals and health centers, strategies to enhance service quality, and addressing health-related needs and priorities.
Additionally, Al-Zaidi emphasized the importance of making preparations to equip new hospitals with all necessary operational requirements, as these facilities are expected to be completed and inaugurated in the coming months.
