Judicial Institute in Iraq Achieves Top Ranking Among Arab Peers

Cairo:The Supreme Judicial Council has announced that the Judicial Institute in Iraq has secured first place among judicial institutes across Arab countries, earning the highest number of votes in the “Arab Excellence Shield” competition.

According to Iraqi News Agency, this top ranking was achieved by the Iraqi Judicial Institute after receiving the most votes in the contest. The announcement was made during a meeting at the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo, Egypt, attended by various judicial leaders, including the Director General of the Judicial Institute, Judge Jalil Adnan Khalaf.

The event, held on October 7, 2026, saw participation from 23 Arab judicial institutes. This marks the third time the Iraqi Judicial Institute has won the “Arab Excellence Shield,” with previous victories in 2021 and 2023. The Council emphasized that the Institute is actively working on establishing and documenting standards of excellence, which not only ensures sustained quality but also enhances its chances of future success in the competition.
