Baghdad:Finance Ministry announced the suspension of the Cabinet decision related to the advance collection of customs duties.

According to the Iraqi News Agency, this decision follows the Cabinet Decision No. 544, which was issued during the session held on October 6, 2026. The Cabinet decided to adjust the exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar to 1,500 dinars per dollar.

The Ministry further stated that the implementation of Cabinet Decision No. 413 of 2026 concerning the advance collection of customs duties would be suspended.
