Khamis Mushait:Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree announced the launch of ballistic missiles and drones targeting sites in Saudi Arabia early Wednesday. The targets included airports and military bases in Riyadh, Abha, and Khamis Mushait, as well as camps in Jazan and Asir.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Saree stated that Houthi forces shot down an armed “CH-4” reconnaissance drone over Al-Jawf Governorate. He claimed the attacks successfully struck their targets, disrupting air traffic at Abha Airport and damaging the Khamis Mushait base, causing casualties, and igniting weapons depots, although these claims remain unverified by independent sources.
Meanwhile, the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced the interception and destruction of a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis toward Khamis Mushait. Another missile was intercepted north of Riyadh before it reached its target.
The Coalition identified Sanaa and the governorates of Saada and Amran as primary sources of Houthi missile threats against Saudi territory. It affirmed its continued operations to neutralize these threats and destroy launch platforms and operational systems.
