Siena:Iraqi President Nizar Amidi and Kuwait’s Emir, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, have highlighted the need to intensify efforts to reduce tensions and resolve disputes through dialogue and diplomacy to enhance regional security and stability.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Amidi engaged in a telephone conversation with the Kuwaiti Emir on Monday. During this call, the leaders discussed the bilateral relations between Iraq and Kuwait, focusing on ways to strengthen cooperation across various fields.

The conversation also covered regional developments and ongoing challenges. Both leaders emphasized the importance of sustaining efforts to de-escalate tensions and prioritize diplomatic solutions, aiming to prevent further escalation and promote stability in the region.
