Tehran:The Iranian Foreign Ministry has confirmed that communication with the United States is ongoing through intermediaries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated they are currently reviewing the US’s response to their proposal. They assured that intermediaries would be informed once a conclusion is reached.

The Ministry highlighted that the US has recently imposed new sanctions on Iran, which they assert need to be lifted. The proposal submitted by Iran to the US includes commitments specified in a memorandum of understanding.

Additionally, Iran has expressed a willingness to facilitate discussions between Yemen and Saudi Arabia through diplomatic efforts.
