Siena:Nouri al-Maliki, head of the State of Law Coalition, reaffirmed Iraq’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause during a meeting with the Palestinian Ambassador to Iraq, Samar Abdul Rahman Hussein Awadallah. The discussions focused on the relationship between Iraq and Palestine and the current regional situation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Maliki emphasized Iraq’s consistent backing of the Palestinian people’s rights to achieve their aspirations and establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital. He highlighted the importance of increasing Arab and international efforts to stop attacks on Palestinians, protect civilians, and ease their humanitarian suffering.

The Palestinian ambassador expressed gratitude for Iraq’s steadfast support, praising the country’s role in advocating for Palestinian rights at both regional and international levels.
