Dhaka:A statement from the Coordination Framework confirmed their support for all measures that protect the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. During their 299th periodic meeting at the office of the head of the National Wisdom Movement, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, the Prime Minister and leaders of the political blocs and forces within the Framework were in attendance.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, discussions during the meeting covered the latest political, economic, and security developments, as well as regional and international issues. The Prime Minister provided a briefing on project implementation progress, and the attendees celebrated the launch of the “Watan Initiative” housing project.

The meeting highlighted the effective collaboration between the executive and legislative branches during the current legislative term. This cooperation has been influential in enacting key laws that impact citizens’ lives and regulate state institutions.

On security matters, the Coordination Framework praised the armed forces’ readiness across various formations and branches to combat terrorism, secure borders, and maintain stability. They reiterated their support for measures that safeguard sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Regarding foreign affairs, the participants discussed regional tensions and developments. They reaffirmed Iraq’s commitment to de-escalation, crisis resolution through diplomatic dialogue, protecting national interests, and shielding Iraq from the effects of regional and international conflicts.
