Siena:Nineveh Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi announced the launch of a significant housing project aimed at ensuring every family in Nineveh has access to a residential plot of land.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Zaidi emphasized that the government is committed to honoring the sacrifices and heroism of the people of Nineveh through the “Million Residential Plots” project, also known as the “Watan” Initiative. This project, which commenced today, includes the distribution of 110,000 residential plots in the Nineveh Governorate.

Al-Zaidi further stated that the government is dedicated to facilitating the return of all residents to their homes in Nineveh. In addition to the “Watan” Initiative, he announced the forthcoming launch of a “Million Farms” initiative, which aims to distribute agricultural plots to Iraqis, thereby bolstering the national economy. The government also plans to develop new city projects that incorporate various residential, economic, and developmental aspects.
