Accra:Heibat al-Halbousi, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, affirmed his support for the Ministry of Interior’s initiatives aimed at enhancing security and institutional performance. He emphasized the importance of strengthening security and stability, consolidating the rule of law, and ensuring the safety of citizens.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Halbousi met with the new Minister of Interior, Yasser al-Maliki. During their meeting, they discussed various aspects of the Ministry’s operations and priorities. They also explored ways to bolster the Ministry’s capabilities and improve its performance in the near future.
