Tehran:The Iranian Revolutionary Guard has announced its development of deterrent capabilities, enabling Tehran to target U.S. bases beyond the immediate region. The Guard claims it has the military strength to execute such actions if deemed necessary.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brigadier General Yadollah Javani, Deputy Commander of the Revolutionary Guard for Political Affairs, issued a warning that any assault on Iranian infrastructure might prompt retaliatory actions against critical undersea cables in the Strait of Hormuz.

These statements from Javani emerge amidst growing tensions between Tehran and Washington, following the Revolutionary Guard’s renewed threats concerning undersea internet cables. In response, Qatar has expressed concern, noting that any internet disruptions would adversely affect all countries in the region, including Iran.
