Ankara:Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has issued a warning, stating that a new attack on Iran would lead to heightened tensions and increased violence. The minister emphasized the global implications of such actions, particularly highlighting the impact on energy markets due to ongoing conflicts in the Strait of Hormuz.
According to Iraqi News Agency, Fidan conveyed these concerns during a press briefing on Friday. He stressed the importance of reopening the Strait of Hormuz as a means to mitigate current tensions and stabilize the affected energy markets worldwide.
Fidan further asserted that military intervention against Iran is not a viable solution and emphasized the lack of support for such actions at the present time. His remarks underline Turkey’s stance on seeking diplomatic solutions to prevent further conflict in the region.
