Hilla:A joint operation by the National Security Service and the Babylon Police led to the arrest of a drug dealer in Al-Hamza Al-Gharbi sub-district, south of Hilla. The arrest took place on Friday when authorities raided the suspect’s home.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrested individual was found in possession of 5,000 narcotic pills and 250 grams of crystal meth. The operation was conducted as part of efforts to curb drug trafficking in the region.

The police have handed over the suspect to the competent authorities for further investigation, while the confiscated narcotics have been secured as evidence.
