Kirkuk: A policeman was killed in an armed attack north of Kirkuk city.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source reported that two gunmen opened fire on a member of the emergency police in the Imam Qasim area north of Kirkuk city, resulting in his death.

The source further stated that security forces were able to arrest the gunmen within 15 minutes of the incident.
