Baghdad: The Baghdad-Rusafa Police Command announced on Saturday the arrest of a suspect engaged in acts of sorcery and witchcraft.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command reported that “Baghdad-Rusafa police units succeeded in arresting a suspect practicing sorcery and witchcraft in one of the areas on the Rusafa side of the city, following precise field surveillance.”

The statement further detailed that “tools and materials used in such activities were seized in the suspect’s possession,” and highlighted that “the suspect has been detained at the relevant police station so that necessary legal measures can be taken against him.”
