Diwaniyah: A security source reported that a lawyer in Al-Shamiya district, west of Diwaniyah Governorate, was assaulted as a result of tribal disputes.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the tribal disputes resulted in several injuries, including a lawyer, who was subsequently taken to the hospital. An investigation into the incident has been opened.
