Abu Dhabi: The Chairman of the Communications and Media Commission, Nawfal Abu Ragheef, received Tony Zhou, Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of Huawei Iraq, at the Commission’s headquarters in Baghdad. This meeting is part of ongoing meetings with international companies specializing in communications and technology.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on prospects for technical cooperation between the Commission and Huawei, as well as opportunities to develop digital infrastructure in Iraq. Discussions also included future projects related to digital transformation, expanding smart communications networks, and promoting innovation in digital services.

Abu Ragheef highlighted the importance of leveraging the expertise of leading international companies, most notably Huawei, in implementing strategic projects that align with global technological developments. He emphasized the Commission’s commitment to building qualitative partnerships that support the sustainable development of the communications sector in the country.
