Cairo: Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit emphasized that the displacement of the Palestinian people is unacceptable. He delivered a speech at the emergency Arab summit on Gaza, held in Cairo, where he highlighted the critical issues facing the Palestinian community.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Aboul Gheit stated that the summit was focused on preventing a new catastrophe against the Palestinian people. He pointed out that the Israeli occupation is the root of the entire problem, suggesting that the reconstruction of Gaza could be fully realized if the occupation were to withdraw.
