Diyala: A security officer ended his life by shooting himself in Diyala Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a member of the Criminal Investigation Directorate took his own life by shooting himself with a Glock pistol northeast of Baquba.

The source added that initial investigations indicate the incident stemmed from the officer's struggles with accumulated debt. Competent security authorities have opened an investigation into the incident.
