Baghdad: The acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Abdul Hussein Al-Moussawi, has approved a proposal to lift the suspension on establishing research centers and units in all public universities. This decision marks a significant step towards enhancing Iraq’s academic landscape.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the proposal was submitted by the Undersecretary for Scientific Research Affairs, Haider Abdul Dhamad. The move to lift the suspension is in response to the pressing need for specialized research units within academic institutions.
