Baghdad:Head of Al-Nasr Alliance, Haider al-Abadi, met with the Russian Federation’s Ambassador to Iraq, Elbrus Kutrashev, at his office on Tuesday to discuss the end of the ambassador’s diplomatic mission in Iraq.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on Iraqi-Russian relations and explored ways to enhance and develop them in various fields to benefit both nations. The discussion emphasized the importance of maintaining communication and cooperation between Iraq and Russia.

The meeting also included a review of the regional situation, recent developments, and their impact on Iraq, along with other issues of mutual interest. At the meeting’s conclusion, Al-Abadi expressed gratitude for Ambassador Kutrashev’s efforts during his tenure and wished him success in his future endeavors.
