Al-Hakim and Al-Badri Discuss Security Situation Post-International Coalition

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National State Forces Alliance, held discussions with Basim al-Badri, head of the National Security Service, regarding the country’s security situation following the conclusion of the International Coalition’s mission and the defeat of terrorism.



During the meeting, Al-Hakim highlighted that terrorism no longer poses a military threat, with only isolated pockets and gangs remaining. He suggested that a security-based approach is necessary to address these residual threats.



Al-Hakim also emphasized the comprehensive nature of security, which he believes should extend to all aspects and stages of life. He underscored the importance of ongoing training, development, and the exchange of expertise in maintaining security.





Furthermore, Al-Hakim called for integrated coordination with other security agencies to achieve security objectives, praising the efforts that have brought Iraq to its current level of security after the challenging years faced by the Iraqi people.
