Najaf: The Al-Alawi Shrine has announced the completion of the latest version of the visitor’s guide for the shrine of Imam Ali and the city of Najaf. This initiative aims to assist pilgrims in navigating the holy site and the surrounding city with greater ease and clarity.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Center for Guiding Lost and Found Pilgrims at the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali, in collaboration with the Media Department, has started work on the updated guide to improve pilgrims’ experience. Mustafa al-Fatlawi, head of the Center for Guiding Lost and Found, explained that the guide features two main maps. The first map is a 3D representation of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali, designed to help visitors locate key worship and service areas, main gates, access roads, rest zones, the Valley of Peace, and prominent services near the shrine.

Al-Fatlawi further detailed that the second map focuses on the city of Najaf, highlighting essential religious sites in both Najaf and Kufa, historical shrines, visitor transport hubs, major hospitals, and the international airport. The guide aims to provide comprehensive information to support pilgrims during their visit.

Additionally, Al-Fatlawi noted the preparation of a special edition of the Arba’een Visitors’ Guide. This edition will include maps and service information provided by the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali during the significant pilgrimage period. The guide will be available in printed form, shared on the shrine’s official platforms, and displayed on large signs at main street entrances to ensure easy access to locations and services for pilgrims.
