Maysan: The Al-Amal Primary School building was inaugurated after its reconstruction as part of the service projects in Maysan. The General Directorate of Education in Maysan Governorate inaugurated the Al-Amal Primary School building on Friday, following the completion of demolition and reconstruction work. This project is part of the Service and Engineering Effort Team's initiatives aimed at developing the infrastructure of educational institutions in the governorate and supporting the education sector.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the inauguration ceremony was attended by the Director General of Education in Maysan, Dr. Jawad Kadhim Sultan, the head of the Service and Engineering Effort Team, Engineer Abdul-Razzaq Al-Maliki, the Assistant Director General for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Hassan Falih Hassan, and a number of educational and administrative staff.
During the ceremony, the Director General of Education emphasized that "the new building was completed according to modern educational specifications and includes 18 classrooms, 4 science labs, an administrative wing, a spacious schoolyard, as well as sanitary facilities and a prayer room, thus providing a suitable learning environment that contributes to enhancing the educational process and improving the level of educational services provided to students."
He noted that "the opening of the school represents an important step in alleviating pressure on neighboring schools and providing better learning spaces for the children of the area," adding that the School Buildings Division of the General Directorate of Education in Maysan oversaw the project's implementation.
The completion of this project comes within the framework of joint cooperation between the General Directorate of Education and the Service and Engineering Effort Team to support educational infrastructure projects and enhance the learning environment in schools in Maysan Governorate.
