Baghdad: Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Ameri, recently hosted a meeting with the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Talabani, and his delegation in Baghdad. The discussions centered around the importance of maintaining a constructive dialogue among Iraq’s political forces.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, both leaders highlighted the necessity of ongoing dialogue to address challenges and safeguard the nation from regional tensions and conflicts. The dialogue emphasized a cooperative approach to resolving issues between the central government and regional authorities, underscoring adherence to the constitution and the protection of rights for all parties involved.

Additionally, the meeting touched upon the subject of setting a date for parliamentary elections. Al-Ameri and Talabani agreed on the need for elections to be fair and transparent, ensuring they accurately represent the citizens’ aspirations.
