Baghdad: Badr Organization Secretary-General Hadi al-Amiri met with Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) leader Bafel Talabani on Sunday to discuss ongoing dialogues among national forces regarding fulfilling constitutional requirements and forming the new government.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Amiri’s media office stated that the meeting took place at his office in Baghdad, where he received Talabani and his accompanying delegation. The discussion focused on the overall political and local situation in the country, relations between the federal government and the Kurdistan Region, and ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two sides.

The statement highlighted that the meeting also covered political processes and ongoing dialogues among national forces. The primary aim of these discussions is to meet constitutional requirements and facilitate the formation of the new government.
